OKay I'm thinking about rescuing a cockapoo from the local animal shelter and they said they haven't noticed him shedding so I was just woundering if they shed or not? Or does it just depend on if the coat is more like the cocker spanial or the poodle?

You have about a 50/50 chance that a poodle cross will not shed.
Technically, all dogs will shed. Poodles shed hairs will just stay in the coat until they are brushed out or buzzed off. So they do shed, it just tends to stay in the dogs coat.

NO I have a cockapoo named otis the dog look's more like
a poodle but act's as if he's a cocker spanial but I asure U he does not shed and you are doing a wonderful thing by rescuing him from the shelter like that

before each and every thing you've a mutt - not a breed. second there are not any respected breeders of mutts. they're all outside breeders. and they could't assure something about their mutts because you do not understand what you'll finally end up with. there is not any "curly lined or flat lined" mixture of that variety - both the dogs takes after a poodle or after the cocker facet. So shedding will be a lot less or extra relying on which facet the dogs takes after. different then combing countless situations per week, there is not a lot you may do about your mutt's shedding.

It depends. Poodles don't shed. If the coat is more poodle-like, you will have less trouble with hair around the house.

anything that is mixed with hair and fur dogs, may shed under 1st generation but 2nd generation they normally have hair.
