Your question puts me in mind of an allegory about a village where all inhabitants were blind. They'd never seen an elephant, but had heard rumors such a creature existed and were intrigued enough to want to learn just what an elephant is. The villagers summoned their three wisest elders and asked them to each venture forth in a different direction to learn more about what an elephant is, which the elders did. For one, the earth trembled beneath his feet and a giant "aumph" sound was heard. For the second, he was able to touch the hind leg of a standing elephant and did so with diligence. The third wise elder, responding to a sensed movement nearby, was able to touch the trunk of the elephant that stood before him. Each returned to the village to tell what an elephant (God, in your question) is.
"An elephant is a trembling of the earth that is accompanied by the trumpeting of those who guard the gates of Heaven," said the first.
"Oh my, no," said the second. "The elephant is as a giant tree, standing strong and solid, but sensing my touch. There is a roughness to the bark my fingers encountered, yet there was resilience, too--evidence of being alive and tangible."
"You are both in error," said the third. "An elephant is surprisingly similar to a giant serpent, although perhaps far more supple."
In my life's teachings, I have found there to be truth in the ideas put forth in metaphysical churches (such as Unity, Science of Mind, and others) and in quantum physics: "There is only one Presence and One Power, God the Good, Omnipotent." The name you apply to Omnipotence is unimportant, for Omnipotence is All. There is nothing and noone separate from the Divine presence, whether they are aware of their own divinity or not. We are co-creators in the sense that as the mind goes, the energy flows (thoughts held in mind produce in kind). The so-called organized religions of our times are, for me, just so many blind leaders touching a different part of the elephant of Omnipotent Good. Hope this sparks inspiration in terms of your question.

Yes, I totally believe that.
The God of my understanding is the formless, genderless, omnipresent, eternal energy source which is the process of life itself.
Not a being, or an old guy with a long white beard and flowing robes sitting in a throne in some heaven in outer space somewhere. But then, God can take any form or any name that God wishes.
We are each an individuation of God, created of the same matter as God. Together we are the sum (son) total of God.
I don't believe that all the different beliefs and religions and forms of spirituality out there are necessarily mutually exclusive. They could ALL be right. Regardless, we are all on different paths to the same destination.

I know for a fact that Buddha never said he was God. I doubt that Selassie claimed to speak all of creation into being. in fact except the the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit none of those laid down their lives for mine.

I think some misunderstand this question. It is not whether or not the above figures are Gods or not, (the questioner uses the word "avatar") but is it possible that their fundamental teachings are all spelling out the same message. If you look closely with and open heart and mind, the fundamental ideas in many religions are the pursuit of love and truth, and help others.

separating Self from god is an illusion we like to endeavor as a means of elevating physical reality into an Ego, wherein we are empowered to be selfish and noxious, judge mental overlords of one another.
when our individual perception of "god" brings us back to who we are and Our Absolute Connection to everything and every one, the nouns dissolve into Knowing--the need for "the other" transforms into a Universal Embrace.
there are countless paths to the end of Human Life and yet we all get there somehow.

Yes God is one and only one creator of universe. It is impossible to be different god for different religion. We are all children of our father God. God is known by different names in local language as God, Allah, Bhgwan, Ishwar etc. Religion may be differ but object of religion makers was same to worship for God.

Not necessarily. You see, not all religions believe the very same way. Let me explain:
There are monotheistic religions, polytheistic religions, pantheistic religions, etc.
How can all be totally right when one claims there is Only One God, & another believes in numerous gods & goddesses?

If you think of God as infinite, timeless and good then the whole universe agrees with you (except for the few on this little earth who don't).

None of these are real Gods .all people,or exstraterestrials, that became regarded as Gods ,or they were invented.
the closest real God we Got is Gaia,we are living on that one
and the next one is ,Ra,Baal ,who makes the life possible.

Beyond any shadow of a doubt.
Only ignorance of the teachings of those you have mentioned could keep one from understanding this.
