Even though it may feel like it being "totally depressed" is not the end of the world. And believe me, you are not alone... there are 1000's upon 1000's of people who experience depression to one degree or another. Depression does not always have to have a "reason" behind it either sometimes it can just creep up on you. Talk things out with your parents or a counselor. It could be stemming from hormonal changes which can be medicated or environmental factors like a break-up or dispute with family or friends. Don't shut yourself off from the rest of the world and brood, try to stay active, a good burst of adrenaline can be a good pick me up.

Get some (good) changes in your life. Everyone gets depressed, sometimes, to some extent. IMO Outdoor activities are usually better to cure depression than staying inside. I would go out jogging, or meet some friends and have dinner, or go play at the beach. You'll feel great after such a day.
