North Korea?

I think NK is going to try to bomb the u.s, do you think this will happen, and if it does what will the u.s. do about it?

I don't see that happening, they are using technology from the 50's. Lobbing scuds into the ocean just off their coast hardly poses a threat to us. The biggest worry would be if they delivered a nuke to some crazy terrorist organization.

No...North Korea probably will not try anything deranged like attacking the USA or even South Korea, Japan, Australia, etc. I know all about the supposed insanity of Kim Jong ill the NoKor's Dear Leader...but despite that he isnt so crazy to do that because it will mean that he no longer wants to live. He knows very well what the USA is capable of doing to him and his country (though Kim probably does not care about the country seeing as he allows his people to starve while he toys with the idea of nukes). Of course...the mere fact that he is insane should keep the world constantly on the look out. If he does attack...expect a world condemnation of the attack while asking the USA to remain "sober" and negotiate (while Islamists and US-haters everywhere will most likely rejoice at it). The US will either launch an assassination campaign or a surgical military strike targeting the NoKor's military (unless it wants to look pathetic and weak). At the worst (especially if several nukes hit the USA)...expect a full declaration of war by the USA (the first two options do not need this) with limited nuclear strikes especially against key targets like missile-platforms and command bunkers, followed soon after by an invasion by the US Marines supported by Navy and Air Force units. What happens after that is anybody's guess I'm afraid.

Highly doubt it.. That would be the dumbest thing they could possibly do, I don't think Lil Kim is that stupid. If they did the U.S. would have to do a military campaign back. It could take a while since NK has really not much to hit us with so I would think we'd use our intelligence and do a strategic bombing campaign. We wouldn't even have to send in troops, just constantly bomb everything that is of military use to them. Cripple them...
If they were to invade SK, then we'd have to go all in though...

Their leader is a real nut!! If he tries it North Korea would be turned into a pile of rock and sand! And don't think for a minute that China doesn't have something to do with this. The sooner the world understands that China is the real enemy the better off the world will all be.

No the North Koreans will not bomb the USA it would be suicide and they know it.They just want to send a message to Bush that he has no right to tell anyone what kind of technology they can acquire for self defence.They are sending him a message that his quest for global domination for oil and profit will not be tolerated and China is their insurance policy.Mess with North Korea and feel the wrath of China the sleeping giant.

This is a real threat. China could become a threat... and where will we get our cheap plastic things if we have a trade falling out with China?? Instead of Iraq, why has our country not been working on NK???

I think that North Korea is invoking fear more than anything to get attention, but this time they're looking for a real response. Although something bad may happen if they don't get one, it's doubtful that America won't do something soon that'll change things, or one of our allies.We may even join forces with some unexpected sources.

Damn you..The Media is making you paranoid...1st..IF they were to get a missile up without failing, (which is predicted it would take 10 years of trials), it would only be able to hit Alaska and the west coast..If they were to do that..we would nuke the country in a heartbeat..and it would probably take 1/2 of a nuke to do it..we would wipe that country off the map..But it probably won't happen b/c N Korea knows we would do that..

NO they just think they can threaten their way into being a world power. If they struck the US or Japan they would get splattered all over the 48th parallel.

They just want to get attention for Relief Aid....they don't have capability to do so, if they do have then you will know that who is the one to strike first, other than that they are smart people...they are not attempt to suicide.
