How do you pit cherries if you don't have a cherry pitter?

Slice them open and pry the pits out.

Boil the cherries and gently squeeze the pits out..by doing this you will have whole cherries..not cherries that are sliced and look ugly.

pop them in your mouth....eat the cherries and spit out the pit!

i just use the tip of a sharp small knife and pry them out thru the top
