She is sitting on my breasts with one arrm wrapped around each side of my neck. She refuses to let go. Everytime I pull her off of me she fights her way back up there.

This is getting annoying, she is 21 and has never done this before.

you should be happy that your cat hugs you. If you didnt know what that means well she wants to tell you she loves you very much and shes saying thanks for everything you've done for her. If you really don't like her doing that you should spray her with water that usually means shes done something that upsets you. Do that a few times and she wont hug you anymore. But anyway good luck!

She is probably getting old and more nervous to be away from you. Try setting up a bed of towls, shirts, or fabrics that smell like you. This will help her feel safer when she is alone.

My cat used to do that when I picked him up after having him shampooed and flea dipped. I'm pretty sure it's a fear of abandonment thing. Have you been away from home, or moved lately?

she could be coming down with kitty alzheimers
and regressing back to kitten hood, or maybe she is just lonely, get her a stuffed animal for companionship and leave the tv on when you go to work, and leave a blind cracked so she can see outside.

She is very old and could be suffering from a feline form of Alzheimers. Or she could know that she is dying and is trying to hang onto you. Poor cat. Please be kind to her. She loves you dearly.
