Yes, we are witnessing the decline of the earth’s environment and resources, a prophetic fulfillment of the Bible.

At the Fourth SEAL, one-fourth part of the earth is to be destroyed before we move forward to the next Seal events (Re.6:7-8 below).

Once the one-fourth part is destroyed, we will move through the SEAL events, followed by the Seven TRUMPET events, and, finally, the Seven Last PLAGUE events.

When the world faces acts of terrorism are we not facing beasts of the earth (Re.6:8, Jude 1:10-11, Titus 1:12, 2 Pet.2:11-13 below)?

Re.6:7And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

Re.6:8And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the FOURTH PART of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Beasts of the Earth -

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain (1 Jn.3:12, Matt.13:38), and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Titus 1:12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

2 Pet 2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

2 Pet.2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

2 Pet.2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

Absolutely!!. The Bible describes events and conditions that mark this significant time period. “The sign” is a composite one made up of many evidences; its fulfillment requires that all aspects of the sign be clearly in evidence during one generation. The various aspects of the sign are recorded at Matthew chapters 24, 25, Mark 13, and Luke 21; there are further details at 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 2 Peter 3:3, 4, and Revelation 6:1-8

The Bible also indicates that there will be people who survive.
Matt. 24:21, 22: “Then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.” (So some “flesh,” some of humankind, will survive.)

Prov. 2:21, 22: “The upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it. As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.”

Ps. 37:29, 34: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it. Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, and he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see it.

The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Revelation 6
False peace / isolated wars /
Food rationing / Pestilences, Plagues, Famine, war
(One these prophesies, the false peace in the Middle East, has not occurred yet.)

I don't know for sure, but it seems likely. Look at the extreme poverty in Africa, the war in Iraq, Hurricane Katrina, tension between Iran and Israel, North Korea's nuclear missiles, the avian flu scare, depletion of oil...there's a long list of things that have happened one after another recently. The twentieth century is known to be the century with the most wars in history. But no one can know exactly when the world is going to end. It could be a hundred years from now or tommorow. But as long as you trust in God, you don't need to fear the end, because you won't be there.

How many times have people "run for the Hills" because
they believed the world is coming to the End.
If we believe the Bible, there are a lot of signs of what is to come
but we will not know the time of the End.
All the prophecies are written and interpreted by man. There is
room for errors - and many religions use these prophecies as a
scare tactic to keep there belivers in line.
For me, I believe, that when the times comes, I can meet
my "Maker" and account for my life with a good conscience.

Prophesies there may be, but most are based on hokus pokus and none can be believed. When we talk about 'the end of the world' we really mean the end of the human race. When you die survival of the rest doesn't really matter does it? Besides if the human race becomes extinct it doesn't mean that Earth will disappear. There have been many dominant species that are no longer with us (ie dinosaurs) so when the last of them died it was, to them, 'the end of the world'. Their world, that is, but the planet survives. A new dominant race may emerge, there's plenty of time for that, be it animal, insect, bird, reptile or fish, just as we did and controlled Earth for a while and then it'll be their turn.

You will have to specify which prophecy. There are quite a few self procalimed prophets that manage to change their prophecies according to whatever is happening, and should they make the mistake of specifying a date, justify why we are still here.

As for if I belive this is the end times, the answer is no. Comparing today with events from even the last 200 hundred years, I would say that we are a great deal better off.

It should be noted that fear is a favorite method of religious leaders to keep their populace in line, from fear of the apocolypse to fear of going to hell for disagreeing.

You are referring to the christian prophecy in revelations, I assume. That prophecy tells followers that they will recieve the ultimate reward at the end of the world. Therefore christians look forward to the end and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. It is coming because deluded fanatical christians are actively trying to bring about the end of the world.

The Bible explains God's relationship as Creator with his Creation. This relationship will culminate with the restoration of God's Kingdom on Earth. The Bible itself is prophecy being fulfilled up to the end of world. To believe the Bible is to believe in prophecy whether fulfilled or to be fulfilled. We as Christians are told to be vigilant but that is all. Be prepared, but your life should still be one of becoming Christ-like or sanctified. People who try to interpret biblical prophecy as it pertains to the end of the world are not doing anyone any favors. Teach people how to become sanctified through Jesus Christ. This is our mission.

No...
Maybe you dont fully comprehend the meaning of a prophecy???

Prophecies regarding the end of the world usually involve an "IF...THEN..." scenario.
As you can clearly tell so far the "IF" condition never has fully been fulfilled, so thats why we are still around....
