I was ordained here http://www.ulc.net/ . The title you will be given after ordination will be Reverend.

I was ordained so that I could perform a marriage between 2 of my closest friends. I've taken many courses and clinics, and I have been given an honorary doctorate and am certified to counsel. I, however, have no desire to help anyone but myself.

P.S. The person who answered above me is completely ignorant.

My fiance's sister and his best frined are getting ordained online through the Progressive Universal Life Church in order to perform our ceremony. I checked with our local authorities (Cook County--Chicago--Illinois), and it's legal here. The PULC's website says they are legal everywhere in the US that they know of except NYC, but I recommend checking with your local authority to be sure the wedding is legal.

Well if your a woman there is no such thing as a woman preacher. Jesus never called a woman to go out and preach the gospel. Jesus sent the 12 disciples out to teach and preach the word of God. Here is you a question? Are you the husband of one wife?
