I had afew names in mind, but also looked at some baby name books as well. There are so many different and wonderful names,I had a hard time deciding which ones were the best.I wanted to make sure that the names would sound good together with the middle and last names too.If a name sounded weird when putting it all together I went on to look further.
I picked Samantha for my first child,Ryan for my second and Brooke for my third.

first child was named after his father: Matthew Kendall
second child i used my best friend's last name for his first name and my grandfather's name for the middle: Chace Howard
third child's name came from a baby name book and a family name for middle: Connor Allen
fourth child i overheard someone with the first name and i really liked it and then i used my deceased grandmother's name for the middle: Kiersten Helon
we are going through invitro fertilization to have one more (or two if both eggs implant properly) we plan to use my grandmother's maiden name for the first name and my greatgrandmother's maiden name for the middle (if it's a boy): Drake Elsworth
if we had twin boys same rules apply but the other side of the family: Foster Lafayette
girl(s) i just like the first name, i saw it on an on-line baby name study and the middle names are my husband's mother's and grandmother's: Pagan Jean-Natee'
if it's twins, the first name would be another of my dearest friends last name from childhood and another grandmother's name as the middle: Page Josepine-Jolie

when my oldest was born, we had names picked out based on our fathers middle names, several ultrasounds showed a boy. Surprise, we had a girl and no name. There was a radio on in the delivery room and the song Amanda, by Boston was playing, so that became her name along with her moms middle name. When my youngest was concieved my wife had a tumor and I knew there were to be no more kids, another girl so we named her Nicole, the femine form of mine and my grandfathers name.

I picked out my daughters name. I named her after the two most influential people in my world. My best friend in high school taught me how to be a good person and my best friend after high school taught me how to have fun so I picked the first name of one and middle name of the other. Kerri Dale. Love it.

My husband and I picked them (1 for a boy, and 1 for a girl) ourselves the week we found out I was pregnant. We didn't tell anyone the names, or the sex of the baby until our son was born and my husband went into the waiting room and announced "It's a BOY!!"

My husband and I just went through the alphabet naming names until we came to a decision on the name. It was a fun way to do it.

I selected my oldest son's name, we both selected our middle son's name, and my husband selected our youngest's name.
Our oldest is a junior - named after my husband (I chose it, my husband didn't want a junior).
Our middle son's first name is named after my uncle who passed away when I was 2. His middle name is for my brother in law.
Our youngest, my husband is named named after his best friend.
