I find myself dozing alot and it has affected my job. I would be alert one moment, then find someone nudging me awake. I can get a little or a lot of sleep and still end up sleepy during the day. I'm constantly awaking myself behind the wheel too. Do you know what form of sleep disorder this may be?

This is your bodies way of saying you need more sleep - unfortunately, if you listen to it, you will become a real porker - instread of going to sleep, every time you fell yourself nodding off, get some exersise - this will wake your body and mind up, help you to function better and keep the kilos off.

you may have mono or a more sever disease such as Narcolepsie witch is a sleeping disorder in which people dose off during multiple times during the day and dont even realize it. and Mono is a virus that causes you to become very tired all the time even though you dont know why. Mono can be treated with an antibiotic and i think for narcolepsie they give something. you should seriously think about seeing a doctor for this condition you dont want it to become worse.

Could be depression. You could also have sleep apnea which does not allow you to get into REM sleep which is required for a "good" nights sleep. I suggest you go to a doctor and get a sleep study done. They will hook you up to wires and watch you sleep for a night and evaluate your sleep patterns.
