i went to a place called "Leadstone camping" last year,
has large fields, plenty of space, VERY clean toilets and shower blocks, walking distance to beach, shops , pubs,
going again this year...............hmmm cant remember if it was north or south devon >.< my geography suks, anyway do a search it has a web site............

go to the tourist board website.
I stayed at a cravan site called Juliots well in Camelford which is north cornwall, but not far from Devon, good site, family friendly, pool, bar, restaurant etc.

depends what you call cheap,not this time of the year,go to the north devon tourist centre,try google

check out braddicks holidays they do caravans and camping,, ther in westward ho, north devon,,
