Okay, this is going to be hard to follow, but, here it goes. Okay, I'm 16 going on 17, which means I should be going into11th grade. I'm going into 10th grade. Why? Because of my stupid school (Cloverleaf High). I missed two days over the limit (we get 10 days off school, I took 12) so they took away ALL my 9th grade credits!!! And when I had all A's and B's too! Now I'm gonna be graduating when I'm almost 20 or something! Is there any hope for me? Or is there an easier way to get a diploma? Help now!

summer school, but you really don't have any room to complain. Your the one that went over the limit days off. By law it requires you to go a certain amount of days out of the school year.

The most important question here is WHY did you miss so much school? I'm sure you have a student handbook and that rule was in the book. Didn't you read it? Did you think they were joking? If you don't soon learn to 'follow the rules' you are bound for failure. Your employer expects you to follow their rules regardless of how foolish YOU think they are.
A GED is, on a scale of 1 - 10, maybe a 5 or 6 compared to a high school diploma being a 9 or a 10 (depending on the school and the grades you received).
A high school diploma is worth more than a GED, no question.
What state are you in that takes away all of your credits? Odd. They must have an absenteeism problem.
The best way is not always the easiest way. You are dooming yourself with a GED in my opinion. If dooming is too harsh a word, let's use 'limiting' yourself instead.

You knew the rules. I am sure that only applied to unexcused absences. Where were you? Go to summer school and learn from this mess. The same thing happened to me back in 1987. A new rule was that we could only miss 32 days from a required subject. I missed 34 from level 8 English because it was my first class of the day and I wanted to hang out at McDonalds with my friends before school. I marched but my report card said retained in grade 12. I was suppose to do summer school but my grades were excellent and my teacher felt that I was a great student who made stupid decisions like you! She corrected it for me.
Dont' make another stupid decision by not getting a ged. If you make good grades, take extra courses and see how you can gradutate as a junior if summer school is not an option.

Is there some sort of ombudsman (person who solves problems with government) available for your situation? What about a student advocate?
If your teachers were still willing to give you such good grades, it means you were a good student in spite of the days absent.
See if a knowledgable adult in your community who specializes in student/school conflicts can step in and help with this.
When did they take away the 9th grade credits? Just now or over a year ago? That might make a difference...

It depends on what you want to do after high school. You could take your GED when you turn 18, then go to 2 years at community college and transfer to a university after that, or you could tough it out and graduate with a hs diploma so you can go straight to a 4 year college.

Get out of bed and go to school. What happened to you is called TRUANCY and in my state, where I teach High School, your parents would have been arrested for allowing you to miss over the allowed absences.
Yeah, there may be the GED shortcut, but in the long run, you end up just hurting yourself. Grow up. Especially at your age before the "school of hard knocks" gets you and you are young and dumb with no education.

You have a few choices. You could just continue with your high school. You could take your high school courses and night classes at the same time to make up for lost time and graduate closer to your originally planned graduation date. You could take a homeschooling high school curriculum from an accredited school like Cambridge Academy in Ocala, FL.

Go to school everyday. There is no reason to miss 12 days unless you were hospitalized. Daily attendance is the least you can do. Grow up.

School ethics are very critical when education is so important. Without it as a female you will be looking for security because Independence is a word that females soon forget and rely on their body language and man to take care of them and if that is you then your in trouble. Stay in school finish regardless and then move into College and be successful and independent in life where you don't need a man to take care of you. I want you to take care of me and buy me things lots of things and wash my back and feed me dinner...lol just kidding stay in school girl and rock on.
Peace
