Other countries have it and are trying to deal with it with more or less support. Look at Malta and Spain, France and England.
France just passed some laws to limit it, England is debating what to do, Spain and Malta are crying for help....
Also, Australia is talking about shutting the doors....or not....depending on who is talking.
The problem is that there are more poor in third world countries than there are 'spaces' in 'lifeboat' countries. Exporting poverty to first world countries is not going to solve the problem of the third world countries, and will destroy the lifeboats.

Yes there are many countries that have problem with illegal immigration. Europe has had this issue for many years (much longer that the United States), if you look at EU (European Union), around half a million illegal immigrants enter the EU every year. However the EU does a lot more than the United State to control human trafficking. Trafficking in human beings, the exploitation of individuals, often women and children for sexual purposes, is a crime and a breach of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights.
However your statement of " Liberals in the U.S. want to give Hispanic illegals THE RIGHT TO VOTE!" is incorrect. First off you are generalizing that the only group of people in the United States that are illegal are Hispanic, there are several people in the US that are illegal from other countries, however they are never talked about. The only groups of people mainly talked about are "Hispanic". Second what is happening with the immigration policy is that people who have been working in the United States for over about 5 years with NO criminal record should be on a track to legalization that does not mean that they are cutting in front of the line (like many people believe) it means they have to pay back taxes and a fee and have to wait in their turn. No where does it state that these people are going to have the right to vote since only US citizens (born in US or by naturalization) have the right to vote, US residents are not able to vote. Now I must state this is not amnesty since most people confuse amnesty with a pardon. Majority of people who are granted amnesty are people fleeing civil war in their country or political persecution.

Again, this is the U.S. Government's (via U.N. enforcement) bad doing in forcing their laws on other countries.
Italy has done what the U.S. Government has done. Dump illegal immigrant floaters in the ocean. Yes, all hell did break loose over this. Italy has said, we cannot accept anymore without harming our citizens. France, recently paid the price for accepting and isolating immigrants. The illegals, damn near destroyed the country.
How to solve the problem? Even though harsh, China has the most sound resolution, by limiting amount of babies one family can have (per say).

Yes there are ... and they're overrun by illegals ... take Britain for example ... people there are seriously fed up with their government's lackadaisical attitude to the problem .... Ireland has problems, but are trying to do something about it, too little too late ... not to mention Germany, which is overrun by Turks ...
We would do well to have a look at these countries and what's NOT being done ... in Britain it's already too late ... there's no way in the world they'll be able to sort their mess out ... don't please don't let it go that far in the United States ....

No other country is as insane as the U.S in this respect. It is never a question of whether or not to deport, it is what flight they are taking home. In Mexico, you can spend 4 years in prison for being an illegal, and that is only if they don't rape or kill you.

Yeah Mexico, bloody Gringos keep shooting at them.
The US doesn't have free health care for it's own citizens I can't imagine being much more cheapskate than that.
Anyone setting foot in the UK gets free Health care; but don't tell anyone it's been getting rather expensive w. all the freeloading Yanks arriving by the boatload.

Other larger countries have or had this problem inly in reverse. China, The former USSR had butt loads of trouble keeping people in instead of out.
