Vietnam is lovely and so easy to travel. the food, the people, what can I say. I love the place.It's very reasonable and safe.
Cambodia has Angkor Wat which truly is a must see. And then there are the killing fields.... Cambodia is for the more seasoned traveler. The signs of the civil war and the occupation are still so evident. There are many beggars and the hustlers are aggressive. It;s still worth the trip to visit this country that is well on its way to recovery. And that is what attracted me to visit there. It is reasonably safe there and the future is bright for Cambodia. If you are interested in the history and to see first hand that a country can come back from the horrors that occurred, then go. If a place where there are many land mine victims, and the eerie feeling of seeing no old people would upset you then I would suggest you skip the place.
For me personally, I would go back to Vietnam every year if I could afford it and had the time, but Cambodia is more of a " been there, done that" and I would not go back again for many years.
Also Cambodia is unbearably hot even in early November.

Each country has its own uniqueness. Cambodia for one has Angkor Wat, one of the ancient wonders of the world. Can Vietnam beat that? The place itself is worth a visit because no one knows how long it is going to last.
Vietnam has had western influence longer than Cambodia, so you find more entrepreneurship there. And Vietnam is accepting the change faster than the Cambodians can.
So, if you can, pay both countries a visit.

Definitely Vietnam...Cambodians are mean spirited killers and the women look like primates. Vietnamese on the other hand are passive and decent and some of their women are super hot sex kitten nymphomaniacs.
It's hard to say why a simple geographical border seperates the 2 in terms of chick hotness. It's a paradox.
