If you scratch at a misqueto bite is it normal for it to start bleeding?

i guess that would depend on how much you scratch it....tell you what...go get a banana....rub the INSIDE of the peel on the bite area...this will stop the itching.

Yes, if you scratch any skin too hard, or too much it will start bleeding, of course--which means you're also introducing bacteria to an open wound, opeining yourself for the possibility of a major systemic infection. STOP SCRATCHING!! Try using some over the counter itch remedies, if you just can't leave it alone. In the meantime, keep that area clean and dry.

u must scratch it pretty hard.? huh? well sometimes when i get a misqueto bite i scratch it if i scratch hard enough it starts bleeding alittle...

Yes, it will bleed if you scratch it. Put a disinfectant on it and cover it with a bandage. Use a topical anti-itch cream and mosquito repellent in the future.

depends on how hard you scratch it. Yes it is normal. If you start to get a large irritated area go to the doctor, it might be something more serious.

It has happened to me. The most that could happen now is scarring. When my bites get very itchy I usually try calamine lotion or ice to numb the area. Try to avoid scratching.

If you scratch it too hard it will bleed. Just put some alcohol on it now.

Yes. Put a compress (Kleenex or other tissue) on it until it stops bleeding. If it still itches, and you don't have any cream or lotion or stuff that is anesthetic, put ice on it until it numbs the itch.
