how long should you wait ti say i love you? if you mean it?

we have only been dating for a month or so. but i have known her and been her friend since 6th grade. and we know each other from inside out...

when you mean it i guess, but make sure it is not too soo the other person just might think you are just saying that to get what you want. I would say at least a few months if you are really serious!

There R many ways to say "I love you" U can show it 1st because if u say it too soon it may make the other person feel uncomfortable and if u don't want that then show it by doing sweet and nice things, then when the moment is right u say it, if the peson don't say it back at least u did it and u meant it and they will always kow that they are loved.

And since u said u two have known each other since 6th grade then she may already know how u feel and it should be easy to tell a friend u love them even if it's n the friendship way.l So just tell ur friend u love her

I sometimes say it like this, I make it sound like it's a friendly way by say " Love ya" and if it's said back in return, the next time I say " I love you" still in a up beat friendly way. The point is I said it and it comes easier everytime.

This depends on your age? I can assume you are young. That being said love is a swirling of attraction and hormones. You most likely don't know what Love is or feels like (Outside your family). Young men think they know what love is and they are confused by puppy love. So search out what love is first, and use the words "I love you" very sparingly throughout your life in new relationships. You need to know what it is before you can use it.
When you have found it, you will know and won't need to ask.

I understand how you feel if she does not say it back to you that would be torture. I say just wait until you feel comfortable enough to say it. You will know when the moment is right.
