Why do woman wait for guys to call?

Mostly because of the culture that they were raised/live in.

In a lot of other countries...like Nordic countries ....most women have no problem approaching or calling a male they are interested in.

Also depends on the woman's self confidence ...as with everyone else rejection in any form can be painful.

Not all do. Some one women call, but more often than not after he calls the fisrt time/

But I think it has to do with the old days.

In the old days, phone calls cost a lot of money, and the guys made more money(at the time), so the guys had to call(pay).

Women always feel that when a man calls her she is loved and cared for but if she call, a man will think that she is desperate. Women always love to be reminded of how she is loved and this really make her feel that there is somebody somwehere who is thinking of her

i think for not being too much possessive. We usually give them the initiative, that's how we know if we are really interesting for them.
