You know I like to stick to the theory that my parents have never had sex and that I was a test tube baby!!! Its helps me. But apparently my partner has accidently walked in on them while they were havin a go. So it does happen. Maybe just mention to your mum that you heard some strange noises the other night. She'll get the hint.

Yeah how do you think you got here silly! Your parents are probably crazy sex freaks!
You should be glad they are still doing it with each other and not divorced by now like a lot of other kids parents are. Next time you could bang on the wall and tell them to keep it down. That would embarrass the heck out of them! Then maybe they would remember that their kids is in the next room (they probably thought you were sound asleep)

As embarasssing as it was for you to hear them, it's actually good that they're having sex. That means that they love each other and are still attracted to each other, which makes for a happier home. However, they should make more of an effort to keep the noise down. While it's one thing to know that parent's have sex, it's quite another to have to hear it. At least you didn't walk in on them and see it. They might not know that you can hear them. If you can talk to them about it, then do so, but if not, then turn up your radio!

The psycho-analytical word for it is the "primal scene" where a child sees, hears or imagines their parents having sex.
It can be a disruptive thought.....but having read the other answers here.......I generally agree with the gladness and "humorous" suggestions posted.
It is amazing that it doesn't happen more to EVERYONE....it's almost like NO-BODY'S parents EVER had sex after they were born it is so rare to hear about.
Try to use this perspective.....
There are many personal things that you are glad nobody sees or hears you do.......
Your parents have the same feelings......EVERYONE does.
If you hear or see someone in a "private" moment, what-ever and where-ever.........just be polite and walk away or divert your attention.
It happens in life a lot. I just hope that nobody ever gets embarrassed when they discover YOU in a private moment.
See what I mean??

As horrifying and potentionally traumatizing this may be, it is a normal thing for kids to hear their parents engaging in sexual activities at some point in their lives. More likely than not your parents would rather you not have heard that but sometimes it can't be helped. Perhaps you could wear some headphones and turn on some music to block that out if (and when) this occurs again....

yes, just because their our parents we think that sex doesnt exist. they are human too. why do u think most of the time they get along so well. everybody needs a little release. my concern is them being so loud, thats disrespectful to you. if i were you, i would asked them what was that noise last night? it sounded like a wounded cat.lol. then maybe they will realized just how loud they were. dont be embarrassed, i think everyone goes thru it.

This is something you should probably not hear. Drop a hint that the walls are thin and the noises from their room keep you up.

Guess they thought you were asleep. Be glad they're happy and still together in this day and age. Puberty is awkward and most folks think the thought of their folks having sex is "strange," but it's perfectly natural and the reason you're alive to begin with.
Be happy for them.

Well, no it is probably not pleasant. Take solace in the fact that they are not fighting.
Just compliment them on how much you envy them and wish you could have such satisfying sex, They will turn red in the face, then become more discreet!
