The Marines have the longest boot camp and the most P.T. so they are usually considered the most phisically difficult but they are subgroups in all the armed forces that take pride to a whole different level.

Well I was in the Army, thats not it. Unless you talk about special units like Delta or Special Forces. Overall, the Marines.
Hey Dd, how are deserters hardcore? Last time I looked we did not have a draft. Its better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you a fool, instead of opening it and proving it.

Well, overall you can't deny that it is the Marine Corps. When I was at a base that trained all four services, we (Army) would be in formation at 0530 to take our PT run. On the way out to start our run, we would meet the Marine Corps trainees coming back to finish their run in their boots with extra weight on their backs. It takes one tough person to become a Marine.

I don't know how you are defining "hardcore", but probably the Marines. Their primary role is as an assault force.
