They usually snugle up to the one that feeds and tends to their needs. Are you doing all the kitty work? I would suggest your fiancee give the kitten its favorite food and make an effort to hold him and snuggle. My cats graviate toward me since I take care of them but my hubby hold them and gives them lots of love and before we knew it they came to him too gl!

The cat poo in my section were given so undesirable that I moved living domicile. No the cats did not conceal it in some discreet position yet pooed everywhere interior the exterior, the exterior outside my the front door on the pressure. I had 2 very youthful children who weren't in college and characteristic been continually getting lined in poo even inspite of the actuality that i might want to search for the exterior for the disgusting stuff. the topic in that section substitute into that in simple terms about absolutely everyone needed not one yet a minimal of three cats WHY? I had no pets due the more advantageous youthful children so ended cleansing up for those irresponsible owners that isn't any interesting cleansing POO OF A 2& 3 year previous . i assume cat enthusiasts don`t see the placed on and tear as many placed their cat interior the previous toddler convenience and secure practices.

Yep!
I have no idea what powers they use to chose, but they seem to pick. When my husband and I were dating, he got a kitten. She's 15 years old now. She doesn't dislike him - but she's much more focused on me. I sometimes travel for my work. She stands on my pillow those nights and lets out a howl-like meow. When I call home, she runs to my husband, gets in his lap and head-buts the phone. She doesn't do this when he's gone. She'll guard me and escort me around the house. She climbs on my chest each night at bedtime for some quality petting time.

I don't think he's as mad or jealous as he once was. But he's also renamed her as "YOUR CAT". ;-)

I think so. When I was 12 ( I am 25 now) my mom and I went to the shelter to get her a kitten for mothers day, the cat has never liked her. To this day it still will bite her. She has always been nice to it, and in fact, she is the only person who feeds the cat and cleans its litter box. Now, in my house I have 3 cats and one really likes me, but not my boyfriend that much, and one really likes my boyfriend, but not me. The other one doesn't really care, he likes us both it seems.

While some cats will be "everybody" cats, most will become attached to one person. It's hard when you get a cat for yourself, but then they pick someone you live with! But, they know what they want. It's funny that so many people out there think cats don't care about anything!

Yes!! Always....My brothers cat is the same way and all mine choose certain people they like more. I lived with my sister in law before and she got a kitten but it wanted nothing to do with her and liked me more.....your fiancee will get used to it...eventually.

Yes they do. And it is not always the person that pays the most attention to them. They also seem to always know when you have visitors that have cat allergies. They can pick out that person in a room full of people and that is the person whose lap they will choose. Your fiance's kitten will probably pay more attention to him if he ignores the kitty. Kitties don't like to be ignored.

Yes cats dogs horses etc, they just like people have preferences. We may not know or understand how they make their choices but that's how it works. We got a dog a year ago a eski-poo, a poodle american eskimo cross, a real sweetie. After a few weeks we found she preferred our eldest sons company . We have three more small dogs now two go to me one to my husband. They enjoy everyones company but go to "their" person first. My big black Persian Tom cat named Vampie always hung with me when not out with his friends stated clear of most humans :) hope that helps ~A~

Yes Cats are very smart, they pick one person as their favorite but still should hang out with others.
