You are going to need a food processor or blender, a pie tin or spring form pan.
Put the almonds in the blender and pulse until a coarse meal forms.
almonds go into the bottom of pie pan. bake for 10 to 15 min in a 350 degree oven. cool completely, about an hour.
Put 6 egg yolks( save egg whites for yummy omelets) and two whole eggs into blender with 3/4 cup of sugar and about a cup of milk, cream would be better. While blending add 2 tablespoons of flour. Blend until smooth.
Pit cherries or debone peaches. Skin peaches if using. place fruit into pie pan and bake in a 200 degree oven for one hour. DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR DURING OR AFTER BAKING!!! let pie cool in hot oven. usually a couple of hours. take pie out of oven and put in fridge for at least 6 hours over night is better. Invite friends over when you eat the pie.

Humble Pie!
Seriously!
Make a crust with butter, flour, a touch of salt and water (egg white if you want it crispier)
Cut up the fruit, add either flour or for a clear gel, use some instant tapioca and let it soak with the fruit and some sugar to coat the fruit for about 15 min before putting it together and baking for approx 30-45 min (depending on thickness) at 350.

You could make a fruit short cake of some sort. Here is a reciepe that I use:
2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons shortening
3/4 cup half and half
Melted butter to brush shortcakes
Berries
Ice cream or whipped cream
Heat oven 450 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Cut in butter and shortening. Mix in half-and-half. Drop by large spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 15 minutes or until brown. Cool and eat with berries, ice cream and/or whipped cream.

Personally I would make a sponge cake and slice all of ther rest up and put togethere as a fruit topping especially if it is all fresh. Cooking the fresh strawberries and cherries to me diminishes the taste and to use it as a topping for the sponge cake would be excellent. That though is a personal choice

you could make a fruit crumble- simmer all the fruit so its soft and add some sugar to taste- then make the crumble which is equal amounts of butter and sugar with flour- rub it all together with your hands and keep doing that until it separates into the crumbke- find a oven dish, put the fruit in then spread the crumble on top cook in a hot oven for about 20- 30 mins! and voila!

why not make simple fruit cocktail? I am losing weight and i make a gorgeous summer dessert from strawberries, nectarines, apples, anything really, and top them with my own natural yoghurt topping. Simply mix a couple of dessertspoons of very low fat, natural pro-biotic yoghurt, (longley farm is best cos it's really thick) with a couple of teaspoons of calorie free sugar (canderel, splenda etc) and its as good as whipped cream. To make a pouring consistency, add soya milk to thin it. Delicious!

You can easily add whatever fruit you want. You don't have to use a cake MIX. This is a great, easy, improv kind of a dessert.
