no i don't believe there are age limits but most players range in age from 18 to mid 30's. the USA women's national soccer team at one point had players age 19 to 36. most female soccer players retire in their 30's because of injuries or to start families.

men have age limits because there are more players who are quilified for the teams b/c the teams have been around longer than the womens teams.

There is no minimum or maximum age limit. I don't think there should be...but due to the nature of the sport i can't see players younger than 17 being chosen to play in a world cup match and not much older than 40 either because of conditioning. So the limits are almost self-imposed. "No sign of any age limits in World Cup football. At just 17 years and 42 days, Northern Ireland forward Norman Whiteside made his World Cup debut in the match against Yugoslavia in Saragossa, and he remains the youngest ever player to take part. At the other end of the range, when the Cameroon legend Roger Milla came on for part of the match against Russia in the 1994 tournament, he was 42 years and 39 days of age - almost exactly a quarter of a century older than Whiteside".
