Since it was a gift you have every right to keep them, but sometimes having them around can make things harder. Put them in a box and forget about them. it'll be a nice suprise when you find them later after forgetting about them

Gifts are gifts. You keep them when the relationship is over. If you dont' want the reminders you put them in a safe place for you to look at wear or moon over at a later date but they are yours.

It's up to you. If they are gifts then they are yours, but if you would feel better not to have them around or if you don't feel right in keeping them then go ahead and return them ... be nice about it though, don't crush him (especially if it was you who did the dumping!)

I load everything up, pictures, gifts, his favorite clothes of mine, all the special little momentos i kept from our relationship and ship them to him.
Ive done that with every ex ive had, they all cried like sissy babies.
Iam married now, and my last ex was over 6 years ago, but he still has that box of things under his bed.
aparently it sends a message.

If you like the gift and use it, then keep it. If you don't want it...return it. What the hell does he care?

If they were gifts you don't have to return them, but I guess if you want to, then you could do that.

In my experience stuff like that was just marked up as souvenirs keep it unless your trying to get back with him because this is one way to start up wear you left off.

juz keep dem, i noe i do. erm, i think it is indeed customary to keep dem ,as a keepsake for all the good times. plus if he were to actualli ask for them, he is such a cheapo.

this is bad, but in my opinion, you deserve it. if it ended badly, (i.e. he cheated, whatever) YOU KEEP ANYTHING EXPENSIVE! or if it makes you feel better, burn it. if it ended well, just return them. it will make the both of you feel better. and it will help you to come to terms with things...
