What is insulting is that there are people on waiting lists who are trying to go about it the legal way and on the other side you have people who didn't obey the rules and are being excused for breaking the law.
I have never seen a legal immigrant fly their own flag or demonstrate for rights, even though they should have. The legal ones are held to a higher standard than citizens and illegals (same taxes, fewer benefits) and if one's legal and gets wrapped up in some illegal activity, they're deported straightaway. Something's really wrong with logic here.

It's ironic. You don't know how hard it is for people who immigrate legally and try to do things the right way. Here is an example, an international student for instance. They have to have health insurance to study in the US, yet when they get here and apply for health insurance they can be denied by some companies because they are not permanent residents, then the only option they have is buying health insurance for intl. students which sucks. Once they go to the doctor, the insurance does not cover even half of the bill... so here you have, people who are trying to do the right things, denied good health insurance, paying high prices for intl. student health insurance which suck, and on top of that paying the high doctor bills if they get sick. Yet, some illegal, not all, but some don't even worry about paying for health insurance plans and then refuse to pay the medical bills and they end up not paying them. Does that sound fair?

No, it's NOT!
Legal immigrants are the ones who came after winning a Green Card LOTTERY ticket! They are no better than the illegal, in fact I know many who have Green Cards, but speak no English and have no education. They win a lottery out f pure LUCK, not because they deserved it in any way!
Also, legal one are cheaters-they marry for papers, lying to INS!
Illegals can't steal any job form a legal-legals have all the opportunities, illegals can only scrub floors and pick tomatoes...

It's insulting just to have illegal aliens in this country to those who had to wait in line. When an illegal alien is in this country they are automatically breaking the law.

I think it would be just as insulting to them as it would be for an American when another American did something illegal. Your making the "illegals and legals sound less than human.

YES!!! As well as to every American citizen, all of our people who have died in wars defending our country, as well as the Constitution and all it stands for. Illegals have respect for no one and nothing. They feel they can break whatever laws they want to be here. They neither deserve or are worthy to be here.
DEPORT ILLEGAL ALIENS
ENGLISH ONLY IN AMERICA

I think the word you want is 'unfair' not 'insulting'.
How do we think about people who don't pay their taxes or lie about their school districts when we have to play by the rules?
Of course it it unfair.
