Jesus Christ said though have faith but no works I will not know you. No one is in heavan but Christ., for we sleep (die) until his return. Then there will be three resurections, the first fruits, those who slept before he fulfilled the prophecy, then those slept before his second fullfillment of prophecy. Hell is the total consuption of any hope of eternal life and the judgement imposed upon those who deny truth. For a clearer study go to www.ucg.org, and may GOD bless you and yours.

No, Ghandi does not have to burn in Hell. If he repented, he too would be saved. Hitler and Ghandi had the same right to Heaven as everyone else. However, I seriously doubt Hitler repented. Someone with that much hate surly had a hardened heart.

Christians will NOT tell you Hitler is in Heaven. If Hitler ever did repented, he negated being saved by committing suicide.
Life is a gift from God - so taking one's own life couldn't allow one the chance for ask for forgiveness.
Hitler was a coward and killed himself to avoid being prosecuted for what he did.
Try to spend some time reading the entire Bible so you can see what Christianity and Christians are all about instead of making assumptions.

That's a silly question from the start. According to Christian doctrine, ANYONE could be in heaven if they truly repented, and that would include people who came from ANY faith background. Christians do not preclude people from other faiths from accepting God's way at any time.
But more importantly, Hitler was not a Christian. The fact that he grew up in a country where there were a majority of nominal Christians is completely irrelevant. Hitler's beliefs were far removed from any church of his day or today, and were much closer to the ancient Norse mythologies than anything else.
I know that it may be difficult to accept the idea of a simple salvation through turning to God, but the idea of Christianity is quite simple. The idea is that there is nothing that humans can DO to make up for their sin. There is no way that we can ever possibly EARN our way to heaven. Only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ can we be accepted, and that sacrifice was for ALL of humanity, not just Christians or Jews. Anyone is invited to accept the sacrifice, and those who realize that they are not able to 'deserve' a place in heaven are the only ones who will find a way there. In the end, it comes down to ego....those who think they are "good enough" for heaven on their own account (whether they be Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, or Atheist) will fail in their vain attempts to reach heaven. Only those who seek God's way will find a way. We believe that Jesus Christ is that way. It has nothing to do with where you were born or how you were raised. It has to do with allowing God to determine the terms of your salvation, not trying to create your own way to heaven.

Love this Question!!! I had this conversation with my devout Catholic mother a year ago, and she was so upset.
Hitler is in Heaven. How do I know? Because when you die, you are relieved of all your afflictions: emotional, mental, physical. "the blind will see"....and as soon as Hitler was called onto Daddy's lap to talk about his life...he told showed him what his "sickness" had done to the world. and he told little Adolph - i am sorry that you had to have an empty life with no mother, the emotional emptiness that lead to your destruction of the seemingly cold world around you -- but look at what has happened to the Earth now because of your sacrifice. Christians and Jews are united in their disgust. They are ONE in the fact that they have a common enemy. They all hate you. You are well now, little one. Thank you for your sacrifice of a "happy life". Your illness and loneliness and hate are gone. Go play. Welcome home." People will preach that "God works in mysterious ways" until it goes against their belief limits. Then they pull the "Hell" card. so stupid. there is no hell.

It's so twisted isn't it? I don't know what I would do if I were strolling in heaven and saw Hitler...wouldn't hate consume you and automatically throw you into the pits of hell for feeling that way, or would you just not have any recollection of what he did on earth so people can treat him the same. Honestly, to me God manifests himself to people in ways which they can understand. Example....Catholic - The Virgin Mary, Christian - Jesus, Muslim - Mohammad. If he believed in a better world, and being "God-Like" then the Christians are wrong and he is in God's arms as far as I am concerned.

How do you know that Hitler was born again? How do you know that Gandhi did not come to his senses as he died. It does not bother me.
God's requirement is not how much good one can do-so anyone can boast(like you of Gandhi's works), but what you do about God. God said that the very best any human can do is nothing more that a filthy rag thrown to the ground. All the good that Gandhi did, and all that Mother Theresa did, and all that Bill Gates and Bono are doing is nothing but trash in the sight of God.

Maybe it's just faith, but I firmly believe Ghandi will
be there and Hitler won't.
Really, there is very little difference between
God, Allah, and Buddah, and I believe they are
really just different names for the same
glorious omniscient bieng.
Hitler may have claimed repentance,
but there is a huge difference in claiming God
simply out of fear for your horrible soul
and really claiming his love, accepting God into your heart.

Who says hitler is in Heaven. We cannot judge him, or Ghandi or any person for that matter. The day of judgement is yet to come and God will judge each person according to His laws.
