i've wanted to know for the longest time, how could Issac, after seeing Rebecca, and falling in love w/her, and working 7 yrs for Laban to earn the right to marry her, not know he was consumating a marriage w/Leah until the morning? i understand that it was dark, and she was probably heavily veiled, but still, wouldn't he have recognized a difference in the sound of her voice, and realize he'd been duped?

Do you think he secretly wanted her anyway? LOL. Just kidding. Can't explain it.

Dont get the story twisted

It was Jacob that saw and fell in love with Rachael, but got tricked after serving his uncle for 7yrs into marrying Leah instead,

I can imagine that it was a well plan scheme, Rachael was probably locked up somewhere so that she couldnt be anywhere near that ceramony. And it unfortuantely could have happened to anybody.

First of all back then he would not have had many moments with her and certainly none alone. Second sisters often look and sound the same. third she may have been instructed to remain quiet.

I don't think there was much talking involved. He worked to get married to her for 7 years. There probably wasn't much talking. Just straight to bed.

She never spoke, it was dark, no electric lights and in the desert it is very dark at night, and he was drunk.
