this is under religion/spirituality, so i have to answer it as such....
theres a clip on the net somewhere, it might be on www.break.com of Kirk Cameron (the kid from Growing Pains) and some random guy, and they're explaining that bananas prove god's existence. they talk about how amazing it is that it fits in your hand, and its curved the right way, and that it has a little top on it that you can peel easily and stuff. i just sat there in awe of the fact that they were rationalizing it as such. i mean, bananas dont grow every where, a lot of ppl dont like bananas, and most of our ancestors made their diet up from as much meat as possible, not bananas. and, then why didnt god make ALL fruit and vegetables that easy to eat? why does corn need so much husking? why do pineapples need their tops, outsides and middles forcibly cut out? why are coconuts so hard to crack open?

these guys are eating bananas left and right. they didnt seem to gain any IQ points from what i can see.

Well, the chemicals in bananas may combine with certain formats of DNA structure in certain humans to encourage development of nerve connections in the brain. However, I think reading a book probably increases your I.Q. more than eating a banana.
