go to indoor places, they quite good too. in auckland theres snow planet but i dont know about the other cities. aint been there

There is permanent snow in NZ, and glaciers. It is always possible to ski in NZ if you are prepared to climb and hike to earn your turns. There are also lots of helicopters who will drop you off. Assuming, of course, that you have appropriate backcountry knowledge and experience.
But the resorts are closed.

Yes, but only on water. There is NO snow left. Only the Glaciers on the south Island.

Yes...but not on a mountain...the other answer is right, but there is an indoor facility...go in the winter June-August
