it's not always like that. it's in the matters of the heart so it doesnt mean he do loves you even if he'll call or not. just remember that you two will find each other's way if you are meant to be together and you really love each other.its just a matter of time. better not hope or expect. if you still have feelings for him at least dont deny it on yourself. just concentrate on other things and not on him for the meantime even he's on your mind most of the times.

If he truely loved you then you will always have a place in his heart. But after a year he is probably just moving ahead with his life and possibly has met a new love.
