Faith is the belief that something is going to happen that hasn't happened yet. Or the belief in somthing that is not seen, and things hoped for. All faith comes from God through the hearing of his word.

Faith comes by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). You need to read God's message to man, the Bible.

There are two kinds of faith.

The first kind is the kind Jesus spoke of. It means "trust", as in having faith that a bridge will support your car as you drive over it. It comes from knowing that "in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who are called according to his purpose."

The other kind is harmful. It means "not using your God-given brain", as in having faith that your religion is true without knowing much about it. It comes from trusting someone else to tell you what is real instead of finding out for yourself.

Faith is a gift from God.

Ephesians 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved-- 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Call out to Him in prayer in Jesus name and ask to receive the Holy Spirit!

Luke 11:9 And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 11 What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; 12 or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

There is no other real "faith" than the one you give yourself. Faith is a word coined by some men to rule and to deceive others. Be clever, be free, just act and proove to yourself you're free. Or trust taht you "deserve" to be unhappy and guess what? You will i betcha
