Talking about sending people to hell for all eternity is apparently okay by Yahoo standards, but questioning Christianity isn't? I think someone at Yahoo should be fired.

P.S. The question I saw consisted of a long statement challenging certain aspects of Christianity along with a request for opinions. This is similar to many "questions" posted by Christians who begin long sermonettes with the words "Did you know that" or just tack on a "do you agree?" at the end of their speeches. This 'Atheist' guy was stating his opinion but also asking for comments, and he made excellent points and should have been allowed free speech here. I think Yahoo showed unfair bias in deleting the post.

Why do you think you need to challenge the beliefs of these people.

You are more christian in this respect than they are.

What are you so afraid of, that makes you think you need to prove something.

You obviously have some idea about their belief system that frightens you or you would see them as just being silly.

Of course You won't, or can't admit this because freightened people always pretend to themselves that they are just right about, not afraid of what they feel the need to attack.

Your slip is showing little one. better cover it up before someone sees that you knees are knocking together.

Perhaps your questions get removed because:

1. They aren't questions, but just your ranting.
2. You're abusing the system.
3. You're insulting people.
4. All of the above.

Danielle S, this person wasn't questioning anything - he's just been posting and reposting his "top ten reasons I don't like Christianity." If you have a serious question, post it. If you just want to complain, get a blog.

I would have to say if your questions weren't insulting to those of us that are Christian or any other form of Religion you wouldn't have a problem with you questions being removed and no our faith is not that weak. that's one thing you should know about religious people that practice their faith is that it's a way of life. it's our life's mission. people like you don't phase us. you make us stronger

you are entitled to think any way you like. I do not have to agree with your point of view but I will never have your question pulled because I don't like it. Even Albert Einstein, a very profound mind believed in God (a power) that made the universe. He did not believe in religion or any of the mumbo-jumbo that goes with it, but he did admit that SOMETHING or SOMEONE had to make the universe. He said that the universe was too complicated and huge for him to understand its workings. This came from one of the greatest minds in the past thousand or more years.

because your questions serve no purpose other than to offend those you disagree with.
If you want to be taken seriously... ask serious questions that are asked out of curiosity, rather than with the purpose of offending, because that just pisses people off.

My ongoing question to athiests on yahoo answers is... if you are an athiest... why do yo spend so much time in the religion and spirituality section of Yahoo Answers?

Were you the one who had the 10 points? Man, I spent about 10-15 min answering then it said that it had been removed. I was bummed. If you'd like to email me the statements, I will be happy to respond to them.

I have just about come to the conclusion that there are no true atheists. 2 reasons.
1st - I have know two self proclaimed atheists in my life, both older. They both used God's name in vain constantly. Why curse something you do not believe in?
2nd - both of these men became ill in later life and as death approached, they cried out to God to take away the pain.
I was sad to see them go, both glad that they acknowledged God

People are going to believe whatever they want. Faith is a funny thing. At any rate, everyone will know at judgement day.
