Not in my case. It was stress related cause a co-worker/ friend tried to take my job and I fought her over it. Silly me.
I had a boil grow on my inner arm and it took a doctor a short time to remove it took me a long time to forgive and realize that stress causes physical problems.
I still have the 1 inch some 15 years later.

I checked the link suggested by Mrs Debra. Very informative. My husband has boils. He dabs on iodine when they are forming, to keep them under control.

keep yr body clean & dry. Medicated powder's can work in some areas. If you get them due to a weight problem then you need to consider loosing excess weight.

Avoid tight clothes especially around the areas you get them. Daily showers, certain drugs coming out. , drink lots of water and try not to stress. oil free moisturizers. Don't get sick.
