I mean, what do you want from a guy? What makes him the "ideal guy"? The reason I ask is I treat the girl I like like a queen, yet she pushed away and started dating an ex boyfriend as soon as I showed I liked her.

maybe she just don't love you and you are not for each other. coz if it's for you, you can just be yourself in showing your love for her and you can do it efforlessly and still be right for each other that you two could not ask for more.

Some girls are into guys that will treat them like crap. Immature girls like "fixer uppers" My advice is try to find yourself a more mature girl to date and be sure you're not coming off clingy or overbearing.
