Shades Of Purple
There she is again
I've seen her before
A broken spirit
Unable to soar
She gently dabs
at the blood on her lip
And swipes the tears away
as she tries to get a grip
She must stay quiet
Perhaps he'll forget
And in the morning
be full of regret
'I'm sorry...I love you'
Shes heard it before
A million times
if not more.
She swore, 'Next time I'm gonna leave.'
Each time his fresh promises
She wanted to believe
She looked in the mirror
with a sigh of defeat
As shades of purple
began to take seat
A little make up
will cover the bruise
It's an art she's perfected
each time she would lose
This woman, a stranger
Hardly got a second glance
I wondered if she'd leave
If she had the chance
I've tried to get through to her
Many times before
So I turn away from the mirror
and sink to the floor.
' Next time I'm going to leave.'

Abuse is never an accident! Get out before it escalates to a point where you can't even see a way out.

Keep out of the way!
It is like this: if I have a nightmare, & my husband is partly on my side of the bed, he will be hit & kicked! It isn't that I want to do this to him, because I don't even know that I'm doing it. He just simply needs to stay on his own side of the bed. I tell my husband that I'm sorry. I cannot control a nightmare. Please keep on your own side of the bed.
You didn't say when he is accidently hitting you. If it is daytime, tell him to be more gentle in his movements near you. You also might want to get his vision checked.

How can he repeat and call it an accident? Or how can you let him repeat and call it an accident?
Get it out in the open, this could be a real issue.

explain "by accident".
Are you two talking and he just takes a swing at you? THats no accident.
Do you keep bumping into each other? Does it happen when you're sleeping? These are things that we should know before answering.

Leave and accidently forget to come back. If you don't then the accidents will happen more often and more deadly.

Hit him back on purpose and tell him he best put a stop to those accidents. Do it again and he's history.

What do you mean by accident? Abuse is never accidental.
Move on, life is short --do not allow anyone to make your time here less than great everyday!!

What do you mean by accident?
I'm sure you hate it when he does that right?
Then you should confront him or ask him why he does that or ask him to stop
If he denies it or scolds you for confronting him, then you should think twice about continuing your relationship
Good luck=)
