You won't give us what we want, so YOU (the american people) FORCE USE to come here illegally!
I never forced anyone to go anywhere (except my kids when I go to the store).
If I forced an illegal to come her, I want them to prove it and I will turn myself in!!!!

Mexicans specificially, since they ARE the largest part of the immigration debate, are not ot be under-rated in terms of sheer desperation to use ANY excuse they can dream up to try and 'justify' their way into the United States.
My question is whether our representation's up to the job of communicating the unmistakable 'no' vote that a majority of americans seem to be giving to the country OF Mexico as well as the mexican public. There can be no room for ambiguity on this one, Mexico needs clear reforms. Hopefully their president will choose to be a good partner with OUR country and we can have the border effectively policed so as to forestall a lot of these problems including ones where people don't seem to know which country they were born in, or other half-truths that abound on the illegal immigration issue.
They didn't just start printing maps yesterday. This whole map thing's been going on since people learned how to draw. If Mexicans haven't figured out by now that the greater portion of american citizens, including an increasing number of former Mexican citizen's who've now become naturalized americans are fundamentally AGAINST free-for-all immigration without restriction of any kind, which is what limp-wrist enforcement amounts to, then the point needs to be further clarified in writing, and posted prominently for all and sundry to 'enjoy'.
We've been lackadaisically going through the motions on immigration enforcement for years. If you remember the whole fiasco with Elian Gonzales, the little boy from Cuba in Florida,
that was a gross miscarriage of justice as well as a public spectacle.
Mexico needs to go home. They need to take their money, their worldly possessions, and go home. Americans have tried very hard to try and support all of this, but it has now verged on belligerency and past the point of reason, and it needs to end.
Mexico needs to go home, the border needs to be reinforced and ENforced against illegal entry, there's other countries' citizens that have tried to gain illegal access to the United States via the US/Mexico border, bluntly spoken, the world has changed. There's 5.5 billion MORE people in it than there was only about 100 years ago. That's an ASTRONOMICAL rate of growth increase, and unless we start treating the border and people from foreign countries differently, and viewing ourselves and our own country a little differently, like in a more educated and critical light, what we'll witness is Mexico move in.
What language do YOU want to speak in the United States?
What do YOU think the country's going to look like in 20 years when we have about, say, 40 million people kind of move in all at once seeking jobs that long since moved to Bangladesh?
I think jails and prisons will be a growth industry, and one of the very few, in about 20 years. Maybe I'm being too cynical, but I see what looks like A Problem with the border issue, and I wish I had a better take on the facts, because the ones I've seen so far are disheartening.

They bring up the issue about how poor they are in Mexico (AP did a story and quite a few of the illegals left good paying jobs there to come here - yes there are very poor areas there but that does not justify breaking the laws here. They can make changes in their own country), that this is their land (think again), that they are Native Americans (which is BS), and then try to even use the Bible to justify their breaking the laws to be here (blasphemers, and they will answer for it to God)

I think the Aztlan approach! A large(and I do mean large) group of Mexicans say that a large portion of this country really belongs to them, and they want it back and that they are taking it back. Gee, I wonder if it will be as corrupt and crime infested as Mexico. Will that send people leaving Aztlan in to the rest of America as so called immigrants? Sorry we won the war and were so productive with our resources. Hey by the way, Mexico has more resources per square mile than the U.S. Silly Mexicans tricks are for liberals!

The idea that a fragment of their mixed European/native heritage was on this continent before a fragment of our mixed European/native ancestors, so that somehow they own what we built since that time.
If my grandfather sold their grandfather a house at cut rates, and it was now theirs, they could still call the police if I broke into it.
And at least my grandfather would have built the house.
Besides, this is about our paying subsidies that pay the bulk of education and other costs of services for poor people. Native Americans never did that for the Europeans. Mexico doesn't do it for its own people. If we pay for them we need to limit how many can come.

This one just burns my tailfeathers, "We are Native Americans that speak Spanish, so we have the same rights as Natives do." That is the height of stupidity!
It is so ridiculous, that if it werent for them believing it, the statement would be truly funny.
