In church it's okay... as long as you can hide it somehow. It's not really hard to do so as long as you're around a bunch of people, nobody can tell for sure who did it.
In a mosque... I'm not sure, but I'm going to say that it should be encouraged.
Farting in an elevator is a sin, though.

It's a fact of life; those things are coming out whether you like it or not.
But if you are in one of the above places it is probably bad manners to do a countdown/lift one leg/aim it at someone/waft it around and laugh hysterically...

I think the muslims forbid whosoever who enter the mosque to fart.. It'll make them "unclean"..

It is not bad to fart in mosque.It is just that you have to do the ablution again.It is our nature.

Its nothing bad.. Whenever you commit anything people hate... always tell them "God made me this way"... And they must shut up then....
