Kurt Kobain went to a place called the Netherplains. Its an In between place. I know people like to think hell or heaven thats it! but there are some people that are hard to determine so we send them there to the netherplain. as for how he died it was not suicide. a member of his band killed him.

I believe Cobain will go to heaven when the resurrection of the dead come. Why? According to the pastor who visited him in the penetenciary, he did accept the Lord Jesus Christ as his lord and saviour, During his term in the prison, the visiting pastor preach the good news of salvation to him. His first question to the pastor was "WILL GOD CAN FORGIVE ME OF MY SINS?" Since then he began to read the good news inside the prison and changed remarkably, before his death he ask the relatives of the person whom he murdered forgiveness. He was even baptized for the remission of sins.
Where do you think he will go when the resurrection come? Heaven bound.
When salvation was ever preach by John the baptist, he did not start with accepting Jesus to be save, He start his preaching through repentance and I qoute "Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand"
in order for us to go to heaven, let us repent of our sins and be obedient to the law of christ not the law of religion.

Saying as Kurt Cobain was not a Christian (at least, nothing in his life reflected that he was)... I'm going to say he went to hell... suicide or not.

It is hard to say. Who are we to really know?
My guess is that he is not in a good place right now, because he took his own life. The problem is that we did not create our own life so who are we to take it? People with near death experiences, tell their stories and those who try to commit suicide don't have good experiences. In fact they say they go to a dark place where people are crying....
Who knows....
