duck duck goose with only 2 people?

Run by the other and slap their head and holler GOOSE
until your tired of running the say Duck
Run to a safe place, next to mom and dad cause when one of the other is mad and cant take no more hits in the head, your head may end up spinning when its all done with.

we would sit in a circle, one kid would start walking outside of circle saying duck-duck-duck-duck, then when that person would say goose he will tap the persons head who he wishes. This child would then have to get up , & try to catch the other before he or she can run all the way around the circle & sit in the other childs spot.If the kid gets all the way around & sits down without being touched then .the other one is it. ,if caught he sits in the middle. This is just 1 way many different rules & depends on how many players. you do not have to sit right next to form the circle you can make circle as big as you wish. Now with only 2 it sounds like a hitting contests.No way to play Duck duck goose with 2!
