I'm 14 and only just lost all my baby teeth. All my friends are getting braces and my teeth are kinda straight, but they could be better. Do I have to get braces, or is there another option for straighter teeth?

if you are happy with them don't worry about it. if you think you do, just go to the dentist and see what he says. hope that helps.

ive had braces when i was 12 in december and i just got them off in october when i was 13, im 14 now and my teeth r nice and straight, though if ur teeth r pretty good then theres no reason in putting $3000 and up to waste, also if u do, the first 3 days r misserable and then the first 3 weeks about r pretty bad cuz ur teeth move and they're not used 2 it so it really hurts, i had 2 eat nothing but bean and cheese burritos from taco bell lol but ya the first month is pretty bad but bside that, every time the dentist tightens the braces each month it only hurts a lil for like 1-2 days, also if u want, u can e-mail me at inuyasha9270@yahoo.com if u want me 2 tell u more cuz i didnt have anyone 2 talk 2 that had braces when i got mine so i want 2 help u out and tell u about how it is

You said your teeth are already straight. Seems like you are thinking you have to bow to some kind of peer pressure. Stop being vain and concentrate on all the good things in your life. There are many children your age who are dying of terrible diseases so stop whining and looking in the mirror.

if your teeth are bothering you, the only way is to do it, but if there is no need, leave them as they are. you mighthave to remove teeth to get them better. There are not teeth straighteners except braces

i think you have to but to be more sure go and see a doctor and he will decid if you need or not and don't be afraid of your look now because you will look cooler when you are at the high school with great teeth so go on do it
