Kayble86, I came back with vivid recollections of my past life and when I was a small child I felt so alone in my awareness of rebirth that I secretly was frightened that I was cursed by 'God' to live another life. Fortunately I discovered that there are millions of people who know about reincarnation - many you'd never suspect - Christian ministers, doctors, professional folks. Reincarnation is not something most people are comfortable talking about, which is a shame.
I've never been regressed by anyone and I don't have a lot of faith in that kind of thing, although I'm sure it's valid some of the time. I would recommend that you do some meditation on your own, read up on dream analysis and keep a dream journal, and maybe try self-regression. There's a great little book with a silly title - "Complete Idiot's Guide to Past Life Regression" you should read, lots of helpful stuff there.

I'm on the fence with past lives to be honest, but if i were to answer honestly how i feel about regression .. it leaves you open to so much more than a possible past life
what if they are tapping into a universal consciousness ? a psychic link to the past ? a imagined persona that subconsciously explains some of your fears and talents ? an implanted thought even by the regresser
by all means do it see what happens , but be open to the possibility that what is said may or may not be a past life

I've done it and it was amazing. I was someone I would never have thought of. I was back in Victorian times and was so horrible! I stole someones husband and hated my father and younger sister because i blamed them for my mothers death. I thne went further back to medieval times where i was a 15 year old lad called Chris who was about to marry the next door neighbours daughter who was called Mary.

i personally find a doctor that uses hypnosis..a very sketchy science at best.... that would go poking around through my head..disrupting stuff just to find some little scrap of information that might in fact be suggested to me (even on accident), by the hypnotist a BIT scary.
i say....stay out of my head. if i had past memories (which i think i do), meditation helps bring them forth with out being messed with.
