first off u have to make sure it is dandruff and not flaky scalp . if it is juust flaky scalp anti dandruff shampoos will make it worse dandruff is a fungus infection and it is thick yellow clumps not just white flakes if u have this then u will need to see ur doctor and get a medicated shampoo . if it is flaky scalp u will need to add more moisture to ur scalp using oil is a good way of clearing it up any oil will be fine (even cooking oil) massage it into ur scalp and leave it for about 30 mins or how ever long u can the longer the better but BEFORE ANY WATER TOUCHES UR HAIR AND SCALP u must make sure u rub in lots of shampoo to break the oil down otherwise u will be left with very greasy hair

While you have the dandruff shampoo ( any dandruff will do ), comb through your hair with the suds still in it with a fine tooth comb. Then rinse. Do this at least 3 times a week, that should do it. Just scrubbing your head with your hands will not get the flakes off of your scalp. You need the comb to scrape and lift them out so the dandruff shampoo can get underneath to your scalp.

am not very sure, but there are categories of dandruff, as in dandruff with dry scalp and dandruff with oily scalp.Any general off-the-shelf shampoo generally puts an end to it.But in ur case,if its not working,i suggest u go to a dermatologist.Just one visit and he will suggest u the shampoo that wud suit u.Some times dandruff leads to pimples. So be careful.
If u want some home remedy, i have heard its good if u squeeze a lemon in the water u use for ur last rinse.

Always get good sleep and avoid staying late into the nights and nowsday mid day sunshine might not be good for your hair ,use natural ingredients shampoo ,especially one with green tea ,above all having adequate sleep is the root therapy ,unless you have fundamental health problem and dandruff is
only the sympton of the root cause ,than you have to consult a doctor.

i wud try using head and shoulders shampoo AND conditioner coz ordinary conditioner after use of anti-dandruff shampoo can break away the protection. if this has no avail, go 2 ur GP, or if u are dying ur hair, this may b a sign tht it needs dyed again.

ok..dandruff is kinda reel easy to get rid of.. only if u maintain ur hair properly. keep a seperate comp for urself. no shampoo or any chemicals. check with a doc. use oil regularly(atleast twice a week) and wash it with shikakai. use beer on ur hair or egg (i swear it really helps.. egg is kinda better) and remember.. no shampoo or any chemical conditioner. (beer is the best natural conditioner) and yyeah..comb it regularly and try keeping it clean all through the week and on the weekends u could have a wash! try not to let much dust settle on ur hair! ok buh bye!! good luck!! take care(dont itch much)

depends on how chronic ur problem is.the best thing u can do is eat healthy, drink lots of water ....i know sometimes u have to make a consious effort to drink water but it helps and always wash ur hair atleast three times a week if u live or work in a higly poluted area if not two times will do..apply conditioner to ur hair atleat once a week..lo and behold three weeks and ur dandruff will be gone and dont forget to oil your hair an hour before u wash ur hair..if possible use warm oil to massage ur scalp the nite before u have a headbath.
