I've never given any serious thought to any of the bible stories but that is a good logical explanation for the burning bush tale.

If your question was serious, my answer would be serious as well, but since you obviously don't have any real desire to learn about this I will simply direct you to Exodus and tell you to read about it.
If you need an explanation for Moses' claim that the bush was burning but not on fire you obviously don't believe in God. If you believed in God you would not have any difficulty believing that He could cause that to happen.
It's not hard.
But since you're not really serious in your questioning (or reasoning) you probably don't give two farts about what I have to say.

Since he was high up on a mountain, I doubt fireflies would be up there. You can read about him in Exodus 24, and on.

hey pervey pirate, i think brother moses was freaking out in a major way. god talking from a burning bush wouls freak me out. whether or not there were lightning bugs there i have no idea.
i'm sure he was fine later that night. he probably had lamb chops.

No. It was St. Elmo's fire, a type of corona discharge, like ball lightning, a mundane atmospheric phenomenon. Or he was hallucinating.
