any info would be appreciated, I am having problems with my 16 year old son, he has been sneaking out of house all hours of night, he has been picked up by Police for carrying a "look a like gun" possible vehicle robbery and the latest phone call from Police this am @5:00 am for "Insighting a Riot' with a group of teens! He is now sitting in this facility for juveniles called JDC ? I am very scared for the safety of my son, I cant find any info out yet must wait by phone for the facility to call me. If anyone has any ibfo or experience with this facility or any others in the Orlando are a please let me know all and any info will be greatly appreciated

I have info on another JDC in Ocala.I went there as a juvenile,and to tell you the truth,the only thing that made me start to straighten up is when my mom refused my letters and calls for one month solid.I was 16 and a know it all teen girl with an attitude.Once placed there I blamed my Mom for me being there.She wouldn't talk to me for one month and during that month I realized alot.Sometimes the "tuff love"thing does work.Just have to hope they pull through and let them learn on there own,even though it is hard.Always remember that he got himself there...reguardless of the circumstances behind him being in there.Only he can choose to behave and do as they ask to be able to come home.Hope this helps.
