According to the bible Ezekiel saw god's willy twice and it was made of fire and a sort of orangy colour. Ezekiel was obviously a crack head, though (ie. he had a cracked head).
God should be neither male or female. The only reason to be one or the other, really, is to get it on with the other one or the other other. Who's god got to get it on with, poor guy? And if his willy is made of fire, that's not going to help. Unless he's like Zeus and takes the form of animals to get down when he fancies it. Apparently his swan is irresistible.
To get some worship out of me, god would have to be a human woman but even then, I'd still have a problem with the loins of fire thing.

God is spoken of in the Bible as HE only because in those days women were not allowed to be educated and were subjugated by the men. The Bible was written by men for men but God is in fact female with an enormous sense of humour - who else could have designed the male species of human looking the way men do (without their clothes on) and women looking beautiful the way they do?
As women are more intelligent, compassionate and loving than men, God just has to be a woman.

I know through my belief that God is there. I think a persons soul is neither male or female, there is no solid form to physically touch. Therefore thier would be no sex called male or female. Personally I have thought he was a male noone really knows.

1. The prime mover of any repetitious motion has to be positive.
2. Women are earth-bound vehicles, the other segment of men, specifically separated to compliment the wholeness of a spiritual union called marriage.
3. By its specific location, by the precise mixture of oxygen/hydrogen and rain cycle, scientific evidence seems to be confirming that earth is the planting station of the universe. Then, the records of the ancients would help us to understand that our species were put on the only known, compatible planet--so far, to reproduce.
3. According to the records of ancients--The Torah, the Koran , the Bible, and shards from the Library of Alexandria, all pre-earth beings are male.
4. Since God is a pre-earth being, and the ultra-positive prime mover, in our limited language, we have only three genders: positive, feminine and neuter: pick one.

Both, that's why He had to create a male and a female before He could call us 'good.' The Bible does refer to God in a feminine way at times, like a mother with her baby or a hen with her chicks.

Male - God is masculine - otherwise, wouldn't we be saying Godess? Plus from my own personal perspective as a Christian God is the Father therefore he is male.

The Nature of God is not like Creatures. more logicaly if he was any of the two he would have needed a partner. GOD has no features like living beings ie no Hands feet etc because god is in need of nothing.
