the famous hip hop singers from the ATL (Ying Yang Twins, Lil Jon, etc.), Coca-Cola, CNN, Krispy Kreme, sometimes, the overall atmosphere.
And, it's 100 times better than San Diego, CA, where I live

Grew up in Ga (0-26), live in the Midwest now, Atlanta is a great city, was just there for a visit...I love Stone Mountain, sorta Metro Atlanta I guess...don't like the heat and humidity. That is why I live out here in the corn fields with the pioneers.

I lived in Clayton county and then Spalding County for a total of 5 years. I enjoyed being able to come into the city to shop or be around different cultures of people. Atlanta just has so much to offer, especially to African Americans. Any thing you want to do or see or buy is available in Atlanta.
I definitely liked being around educated, and financially stable African Americans... entrepreneurs, etc... it was like an emotionally welcoming home to my soul, because I live in Tn in an area that has only about 6% african americans, and very few entrepreneurs, or college educated, etc.
Atlanta to me was a validation to my ethnic background and culture. The African Americans in atlanta have so much pride about their heritage and their ablilities to succeed in life.
I miss being there so much. The summer heat is no joke though...but everyy day I think about returning, I am drawn to that area. "Georgia on my Mind".

I lived there for two years. (Really I lived most of that time in Marrieta.) Two brothers and a sister lived there for years, one still does. It's a rocking town.
