ever heard of patriarchy honey? where masculinity is the norm, femininity is the exception? the media is a reflection and a perpetuation of our society, which has evolved from centuries of masculine domination and female subordination. some of this dynamic is obviously practical in nature (i.e. the men going out and hunting women taking care of children argument) BUT, exploiting this dynamic in the modern world and warping it into a power relationship where women have come up short because of lack of opportunity/education/encouragement/etc, is what we're dealing with, and have been dealing with, for a long time now.

it is the society where we live dictates the way we see and treat women. we still live in a patriarchal world where men are always regarded as the supreme sex..which is not suppose to be. women can do a lot to change that image. we could all work on it.

saying that most women are control freaks is just a way to denigrate them as females.
We live in a mature and stable society...there are few frontiers. It is no surprise that young men need to stake a claim, even to struggle to survive...because at the moment we don't need them.

power is a state of mind- it could be real or pretense...
there is no power in degrading anyone...
when someone feels outta control they express it as such, that the one in control is beneath them, so chill its just a short madness
