Why not, still, stopping the printing and displaying of other languages and have the people who do not want to assimilate pay the burden of translation?
They asked to participate in the American sociaety, nd if they do not want to do so fuylly, why not have them bring qualified interpreters (that would bring jobs to the country) for government appointments and such. Is it not more fair to have the ones causing the 'problem' (for lack of a better trm) pick up the tab?
I do not want my tax dollars spent on more printing due to someone's laziness or desire to have their cake and eat it too!

I agree with you there 100%. If an English speaking person were to go to another country they would have to learn that language and assimilate into that culture and society. But the illegals here don't want that. Their very presence shows that they don't want to do the right thing and want everything done their way or they will throw a temper tantrum like a spoiled brat.

As I said in response to another question. When I moved to Germany, I had to learn the language. It shows respect and is expected in other countries. If someone wants to move to the United States and attempt to become a citizen, the least they could do is learn the language (in this case english).
