I like answer number 1... it's funny. Seriously, I don't see how it could change much. Meteors might add some weight, but shooting spacecraft off the planet should reduce the weight. Either way, the difference is negligible. Besides, weight is gauged by gravitational pull. Where would you put a scale to measure the earth's weight? Where would you find a scale with enough capacity? And with respect to what body? Do you really care? I sure don't.

It is constanly getting heavier by meteorites. Not due to people and the dead we have burried, like I thought.

That's what I thought too, until I saw a show on PBS, that explained this.

We never see them, due to the fact, most areas on earth, are in oceans. Arctica and Antarctica. We also have a lot of thick dense areas (such as forests, plains and high mountains) on the planet that keeps us from tripping over them left and right, all the time.

MOST of the planet is not even populated.

SOO.....we just hardly ever see them.

That's what they said on PBS.

The earth gets heavier every year, by accumulating meteorites
24 hours a day.

Also, even though the population is huge, the scientist say " It is due to meteorites. Not people.

Wow! When I watched that show, it surprised me!
