that these food eating contests are setting a bad example for the younger people? I'm all for competition, but I'm tired of hearing that Joe Schmoe ate 50 hotdogs in 20 minutes.

Forget about the young people and the example being set. I think they are ridiculous and deplorable. There's nothing impressive or useful in the ability to consume huge amounts of food in short periods of time.

I thought I actually heard one of those contestants was supposedly a vegetarian haha now thats dedication.
