Being a woman as I am I prefer true stories dirty or cute or anything in between as long as it's funny. The presentation is very important to women because we are advanced communicators we read everything, eye movement, sweating, stance,tone and so on. I like Bill Cosby, Robin Williams and my all time favourite is Jim Carey.

In my experience (as a comedian), women tend to laugh more at funny stories, characters or impressions. In fact, I get asked to "tell us a joke mate" by men, never by women...

i like original jokes, not with any set up. i guess it depends on my mood though, sometimes it's fine to hear dirty jokes, other times it's inappropriate.
